Scholarship Overview

The Multicultural Concerns Committee is committed to provide support and monetary assistance to those people of color who are studying for a career in church work. Church work includes studying for the ordained ministry, associate in ministry, deaconess and other positions within the church that require theological study. The scholarship form needs to be completed along with a recommendation from the pastor. The maximum amount allowed per person is $300.

Please give this form to someone who is qualified and interested. The form can be found in the newsletter or contact Synod office. When completed it can be sent to:
