Synod Secretary Serves as the official record-keeper of the synod, ensuring accurate documentation of actions taken by the Synod Assembly and Synod Council. The secretary attests official documents, collaborates with the bishop to maintain and archive important records, and submits required reports to the churchwide organization. Synod Council Meets four-five times a year to conduct the business of the synod between synod assemblies. This body has the responsibility of being the stewards of our finances and mission as a synod, directing policy and procedure, and managing the Ordained Roster of our synod. Consultation Committee Meets as needed to hear disagreements on substantive issues between congregations and between pastors and congregations. The committee may also be called upon to assist the bishop when allegations are levied against a rostered person or congregations which could lead to referral to the Discipline Committee.
Discipline Committee Meets as needed to hear cases which may result in disciplinary action against a rostered minister or congregation.
