Looking for first-time and Experienced Disaster
Volunteer Teams!

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (meet at Police Dept.)
Village of Bellville, OH
(South of Mansfield in Richland County)
Assisting the Village of Bellville with clean up of the
Clear Fork River to help prevent flooding. Will clear
debris from the banks and logs/debris from the river.
This is an opportunity to develop our teamwork &
cooperation without pressures of a disaster.
Village personnel will assist and supervise.
Needing adults with skill in using power tools
especially chain saws. Volunteers to bring hand saws,
shovels, waterproof clothing and boots, and safety
apparel such as goggles and gloves. Youth must have
adult supervision. Recommend a change of clothing for
the drive home.
Lunch
served by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bellville.

JOURNEY FORWARD PROCESS SUMMARY:
Journey Forward is a process designed to develop clarity
about mission focus in order that congregations become
vibrant, vital, viable, visible, sustainable and
relevant for the sake of the Gospel. The Northeastern
Ohio Synod leadership team, with a host of volunteers,
will walk alongside these congregations to provide
coaching and technical assistance in gathering
information, host learning opportunities to guide
planning efforts that include connecting with others for
mutual growth and collaboration.
This process is like a three-stage rocket
meant for congregations who want their ministry to grow
in depth and in effectiveness as a witness to Christ in
