To Submit Congregational Constitutional Changes for Review:
1. Email your proposed changes to the Constitution Review Committee at[email protected]. 2. A committee member will review your request and respond within 120 days of assignment. You will be notified via email at the time of the assignment. 3. Once the Committee approves the draft, the proposal is returned to your congregation for an official vote. 4. After the congregation approves the changes, send the final version and the voting results back to the Constitution Review Committee. 5. The Committee will submit the constitution to the Synod Council for formal approval at their next meeting (held five times per year). 6. Following Synod Council approval, your congregation will receive a formal letter of confirmation. 7. To complete the process, the new constitution must be ratified according to your specific congregational bylaws.
