Coaching/Spiritual Direction Report and Request for Reimbursement The synod is providing a reimbursement of $30 per month for coaching or spiritual direction. In order for the reimbursement to be authorized, the rostered minister must submit a report of the session and the provider must submit a request for reimbursement.
Departure from Call When a rostered minister departs a call for reasons other than to accept another call or for retirement, they need to inform the synod office of their desired status. They can request to be removed from the roster or to be placed “on leave from call.”
Interim Ministry Interim ministers are expected to submit a monthly report of their ministry. The Interim Ministry Covenant is typically for a period of six or twelve months and must be renewed/updated after that term.
Covenant for Departing Pastors When a pastor resigns their call to a congregation, the authority for their pastoral ministry expires along with the call. It is imperative that departing pastors and congregation councils communicate the expectations to the congregation. This document contains a covenant that is to be signed before the pastor departs and includes sample communication to the congregation.
