ELCA Congregation & Synod Reports

ELCA Congregation Reports 2025:

  • There is now only be one form to complete, Form A, which asks for congregation statistics and financial data.
  • Congregations, Synod Authorized Worshipping Communities (SAWCs), and New Starts received an email December 13, 2023 explaining the new Annual Congregation Report process and key dates. This email will included a link for reporting instructions which includes a generic version of Form A.
  • In mid-January 2026, congregations, SAWCs, and new starts received an Annual Congregation Report packet in the mail. This included instructions and the password to file online. The online system for filing opened mid-January. ​

If you need to update your congregation's contact information, please do so as soon as possible. You may do this by completing the online form through the ELCA, or by emailing [email protected].
