Our mission as the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, empowered by the Word and Sacraments, is to worship the Lord of the church, nurture the faith among believers, witness to the grace of God in Jesus Christ, serve the needs of all people, and provide the necessary support to facilitate this mission.
Our vision is one of unity. We want to reach across the barriers and share the love of Christ well beyond the walls of our own churches. The Northeastern Ohio Synod strives to connect our members and congregations to tools and resources they can use in their own ministries. We seek to help our congregations sustain and grow their communities of faith, and provide support wherever possible. We are in this together, and together we are strong.
